A Texas native, Steve grew up in various parts of the country, including Alaska, San Diego, and rural Nevada, before settling in Austin in 1985.

With a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Texas at Austin, Steve began his career as a computer programmer and business analyst. However, his passion for helping people and his knack for analytical problem-solving led him to transition full-time into real estate in 1995.

Alongside his wife Sylvia, Steve had already co-founded a small brokerage in 1993, specializing in property management, leasing, and sales, which laid the foundation for his thriving real estate career.

With over 30 years of experience as a Realtor in Austin, Steve offers unparalleled market expertise and a “been there, done that” perspective.

His hands-on approach ensures that every client works directly with him from start to finish, avoiding the delegation that can sometimes create gaps in service.

His philosophy centers on intentional, client-focused care, where every detail is handled meticulously to help clients make well-informed decisions with confidence.

Steve and Sylvia have raised two daughters, both now accomplished professionals. Shelly works as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Austin, while Caroline is a software developer based in Brooklyn, NY.

As empty-nesters, Steve and Sylvia enjoy social activities with friends in Austin and frequent trips to their second home in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
